Lauri Valentin: Music Educator Lauri has been a certified music educator since 1993 and a private lesson teacher for most of her life. She is a freelance percussionist in any genre of music and is very skilled teaching any of the band instruments including flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, tuba, percussion and piano. Her undergraduate degree is in music performance from the University of Michigan and she also holds a Master of Music Education degree from Northern Illinois University. She has taught in the public and private schools for over 10 years and is on faculty currently at Merit School of Music in Chicago. She is as passionate about music as she is about sharing and teaching it. She is available to come to your home for lessons which range from $25 -$35 dollars per half hour depending on the distance she travels to your home. You can reach her through our office.
